December 12, 1913 – December 14, 2011

The last time I saw him was in April 2011. He would stay in his apartment upstairs as his health was declining. Sylvia was running running the bookshop.

I snapped my last picture of George as he looked out the window, the Notre Dame of Paris in front of him. He wore a pink shirt, just like the tree blossoms. Rest in peace, George.
